Transition a Quote to a Job

After you have reached an agreement with a client about the quote, you can convert the quote to a job.

To convert a quote to a job, complete the following steps:

1. Click Menu > Quotes > Quote Search.
2. In the data grid on the Quote Search page locate the quote that you want to turn into a job and click its quote number in the Quote # column. The quote is displayed on the Quotes page, which shows the quote's name as the title of the page.
3. Click at the bottom of the page. TrafficLIVE assigns a job number to the quote and retains the text description that was entered for the quote. The relevant information from the quote is displayed on the Jobs page, which shows the new job's name as the title of the page.
